The Field Operations Manager (FOM) shall report directly to the Deputy Resident Construction Manager (DRCM) and be responsible for the segment of the project to which they have been assigned on the 27 mile commuter rail project for the Fort Worth Transportation Authority.
Various tasks, responsibilities and contributions:

  • Provide oversight and supervision of the field staff in their segment
  • Review in progress and final project records to ensure records are kept in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents
  • Monitor project progress, participate in the pay application process, keep a diary for their respective segment, and attend selected meetings with the contractor
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the DRCM

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years total experience in construction management
  • Experience on transit and rail construction projects
  • Ability to demonstrate good communications skills, detail oriented and ability to work independently are essential

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
  • CCM certification
  • Experience on TexRail projects
  • Advanced technical or business degree
