Responsible for the support of various employee benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability and 401(k). Provides exceptional customer service while interacting with employees and executives. Utilizes various HRIS and vendor information systems to research and resolve employee concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly billing and reconciliation/ audit of vendor payments.
  • Responsible for the benefit platform which automates benefit processes, producing accurate and timely benefit enrollments.
  • Performs testing and quality assurance of product development and plan changes in various systems.
  • Complete regular audits of data for benefit plans to ensure data accuracy within our various systems
  • Support external and internal audit activity on retirement plan (annual audit and non-discrimination testing, etc.)
  • Work closely with IT, HRIS and Payroll departments to problem solve, find process improvements and implements
  • Support and assist benefit orientation and open enrollment
  • Provide analytics and reporting to support decision making
  • Create and upload transfer files: new hires, terminations, FSA, COBRA, 401(k) Contributions
  • Participate in benefit projects which evaluate/documenting processes to include analyzing trends;
  • Trouble shoots employee benefit inquiries through research and communication
  • Coordination with vendor for daily administration of the benefit enrolment system, including but not limited to processing benefit events, collecting supporting documentation and calculating retroactive premium adjustments.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Experience:

  • 2-5 years experience working with reconciliations, analytics and audittesting in corporate environment some benefit knowledge preferred Skills:
  • MS Office knowledge " intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (VLookUp, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Experience with JDE and ADP helpful but not required
  • Capability to master new HRIS and other information systems.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Benefit concepts and laws
