Welcomes each party to the dining room and explains the many food and beverage amenities available to the guests.
Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in the dining room as may be required to ensure maximum levels of guest service.
Handles decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service matters in accordance with skill levels.
Ensures appearance of assigned station or service areas are maintained in a clean and functional manner.
Follows all dining room operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
Notifies appropriate staff members when assistance is needed.
Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.

The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.
High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
Requires knowledge and skills needed to safely serve beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws.
Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, credit card/players club card systems, cash, etc.
Must be knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
Strong written and oral communication skills required.
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
